Professor Tony Harries

Senior advisor at International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) and Honorary Professor at London School of Hygiene &Tropical Medicine, UK. Spent over 20 years in sub-Saharan Africa, working on TB, HIV/AIDS and TB-HIV. Led development of the 1^st collaborative framework on TB and diabetes (2011), policy formation (e.g. the Bali declaration in 2015) and the recent Global Guidebook on Diabetes-Tuberculosis, issued by WDF and IUATLD (2019).
